Eva beta terms
DRAFT for legal review. Replace every [bracketed] item, and have a lawyer check it, before it's shown to the public.
These terms are between you and [Company name], [address] ("we"). By using Eva in the beta you agree to them and to the privacy notice.
The beta
- Eva is invite-only and in testing. Things may change, break or stop, and there are daily limits.
- We can end the beta or your access at any time. You can stop at any time and delete your data (/delete).
- The beta is free. [Say so explicitly, or describe pricing.]
What Eva does, and what she doesn't
- Eva asks you before anything is booked, changed, cancelled, ordered, paid or called. Nothing happens without your approval in your app, unless you yourself turned on automatic approval for a place.
- Businesses decide what's available and confirm bookings and orders. Eva tells you only what a business confirmed. A booking made by phone with a business that isn't on the network is marked unverified.
- Eva can make mistakes. Check the details on each approval before you approve.
- What you buy or book is between you and the business, under its terms and cancellation policy. We're not a party to it and don't guarantee the business.
Your part
- Use Eva only for yourself, lawfully, and not to harass businesses or anyone else.
- Keep your phone and email secure: approvals depend on them.
- Don't send Eva medical details, payment card numbers or passwords.
Liability
[Limitation of liability, governing law (e.g. the laws of Mexico) and courts: to be written by your lawyer.]
